The City of Forest Lake's Park and Recreation Department is currently hiring part-time seasonal Park Rangers for Spring - Fall 2024. Park Rangers will work independently to keep a clean and safe environment at Lakeside Memorial Park during the weekday evenings and weekends mid-April through mid-October. Duties include, but are not limited to monitoring park activity, enforcing park rules, and maintaining a clean park and facilities.

2024 contract salary range is $75,733-$101,753 annually along with health, dental and vision contributions up to $1415/monthly. 2025 contract salary range is 78,020-$104,832. Additional salary and benefit considerations including front-loaded vacation and sick accrual will be considered for lateral candidates. A streamlined training program may also be given based upon experience and current pay structure. Up to $2,000 a year in tuition reimbursement is available to all employees.
